ritual everyday, here we we bring this pattern to awarenss. We’ll cover
how to clarify and focus our intention for the ritual, how to involve the
senses and so bring ourselves fully present, what are the essential components
of
ritual and how to co-ordiate disparate ideas together to manage the flow
of energy and create a cohesive whole.

When the dark, roiling clouds of Chiron and outer planet transits stir the
soul, and the life we've been living- no longer fits: it is not a punishment,
but a
call to evolve. We'll explore how to understand the symbolic map of the spiritual
crisis often triggered by the regular transits of these planets to our natal
charts, and what tools we have to navigate them.

Living Astrology: Using Astrodrama to make a chart come alive
Oct 23- 4:00 pm. All levels welcome. Be a planet and act out a chart. We’ll
start with a walking meditation that embodies the medicine of each planet,
then spread out the zodiac and let you become the Sun, Moon or planet as
we walk through
the phases of the Moon then act out the chart of the day. Once you experience
what a trine, square or conjunction feels like, all charts come alive and
begin to breathe. 1.5 hrs.
Transformation 2010-2012: an Astrological State
of the Union Address
Oct 24: 11:30 am. All levels welcome. This is an amazing point in astrological
history ripe with chaos and exciting potential as Pluto, Uranus and Saturn
form a T-square in cardinal signs. We will debunk some of the 2012 hype and
map out
the major astrological patterns of our time in clear and accessible language
and put these patterns into historical, political and mythological perspective.
Together we will brainstorm ways of making the most of this wild time. 1.5
hrs.

The best
way to really learn astrology is to talk in this language and look at case
history
after case history. Bring your chart, questions, tough cases, or examples
you’d
like to share, or just come and listen. This is a great way to learn, refine
you skills, or enjoy company of astrologers. Please call the day of the class

Basic Astrology Intensive: eight weeks-Wednesdays, 7-9 starting week of Sept. 22. $200. ( Site To Be Confirmed) Learn astrology the easy way,
through myths and stories, your own body and your own chart. For beginners
and those
are self-taught and want to be sure they have all the building blocks for
good astrology. We’ll walk through the 4 elements, zodiac, and planetary
rulers, use basic astro-drama to understand aspects and the phases of the
Moon, as
well as myths and stories to understand the planets, the major astrological
players.
After 8 weeks you will be able to look at a chart and have it come alive.
Advanced level: Family
Dynamics in the Horoscope: First we study a natal chart to
locate the emotional prime directives that call us to this particular
life and
call us into our family. We map how the child perceives its parents,
their gender interaction, and how we were trained to parent our selves.
Then
take a look at the interactions between family members, and see how
each child is trained to relate to the outside world, and their intimate
relations.
If we really see these patterns, we have more choice, and can offer
more choice to our clients. How "the person in the horoscope" can
break patterns that don’t work, be true to themselves in the
patterns that do, and expand his or her capacity to love and grow. TBA

share experiences to get used to it and integrate intuition as normal
phenomena, and nurture our budding intuition through meditations, shielding
practice and exercises.
