I am a ceremonial officiant, spiritual counselor and astrologer.I’ve had an active astrological and spiritual counseling practice since 1978; taught astrology, palmistry, and courses on developing intuition, lectured, and done radio and TV along the way. I built my first zodiacal calendar at 12 yr. and took my ephemeris (book of planetary positions) everywhere after the age of 14. I kept my ephemeris in hand, researching away throughout an adventurous life, through my training in the Human Resource and Human Potential fields, used astrology’s wisdom to navigate my children (and me) through to their adulthood, and watched the planetary patterns of most every event and person I’ve come across.

After my early decades in New England, I moved to Santa Fe, NM to help a dying friend pass over and fell in love with the land and the people. As well as my private work as an astrologer I worked at Ten Thousand Waves Spa, in Santa Fe, NM, where I had the opportunity to refine my practical, applied approach to astrology by incorporating it in the daily business world, co-managing an active business and several hundred employees. Through collaboration with several therapists and life coaching groups in both in NYC, New England and New Mexico, I had the wonderful opportunity to do supervised, in-depth multi-generational work. I learn more about the field through every chart I see, and have trained with some of America’s best astrologers on Astro-locality, Mythic, Humanistic and Traditional Astrology.

After a series of dreams I moved to NYC just a few weeks before the 9-11-01 disaster. I volunteer my work daily with a client who as an EMT on search and rescue at ground zero and needed to download, it was a relief to find some way to help. This experience inspired me to search for more tools to offer my clients, I wanted to walk with them through their crossroads and rough waters and celebrate their turning points, not just map it with them, and so went back into an Interfaith seminary to expand my spiritual counseling tools and ceremonial skills.

In 2007 my mate Wren and I moved to rural North Dakota up on the Canadian border, to the Turtle Mountain Reservation, where she helped start a science teacher training at the tribal college. I kept up my private practice and writing through the internet and phone while I tutored, taught a few classes in writing, and did research in the local school districts for the chair of the education department, all of which was a fascinating journey and an honor. I found a small but growing community spiritual seekers who did not feel at home in the local churches and started the Turtle Mountain Interfaith Circle; it is now running as a lay–led cooperative while I provide consulting support.
We moved to St Paul, MN in the summer of 2010 to begin our next chapter.
