The range of ceremonies is vast, so put my fee in proportion to the other expenses of your service. I will work with you on an appropriate price, and consider special circumstances. Remember, 10 years from now, no one, least of all you, will remember all the details of the flowers, only their wonderful impression--but the words and intention of your wedding ceremony or the warmth of your baby naming will resonate for many years to come. Our work together is the heart of the ceremony; please consider this when you consider my fee. For example: If you're having 20 people over for a baby blessing or house warming, feel free to pay at the low end, If you are burying your child, I will work for expenses and a donation to the Interfaith Seminary. If you are putting on a 400-person, hour-long, bouquet-filled wedding, weaving together 5 traditions, 10 poets and need 6 revisions, think generously. Below is a guideline.

COUNSELING/CONSULTING: For spiritual or pre-marital counseling, or ceremonial consultations (if you are doing your own ceremony, wedding, blessing, etc, and just want my input.) $80-120 per hour (you set the price where it feels appropriate to you), by phone or in person.

CEREMONIES: Our first interview is free; make sure I am the one you chose to work with.

Blessings/Cronings/Funerals: Let's talk about the time you need, my hourly rate is our guide for pricing.

Weddings: from $250-$2,000

Simplest Wedding: You come here to the Turtle Mountains, or catch me in NYC while I am there for other work, we put together a quiet, heartfelt ceremony with you and your witnesses, perform, and send you on your way with blessings: approx. $250

Simple Wedding: one interview/planning session, 1-2 final revision, and the wedding performed at your location in North Dakota, or In NYC on my usual schedule: $300 plus expenses.

Moderate Wedding: (larger scale more complex ceremonies- one interview/planning session, a few revisions, and the wedding performed, $400 plus expenses. $500 including rehearsal.

Big wedding: in NYC/or North Dakota, $750 + expenses, one interview/planning session, a few revisions, rehearsals, the wedding performed.

DESTINATION WEDDING/PLANNING:

Weekend Away, rehearsals, spiritual support for family: $1,000 + expenses.
